What activities did you use the Reach Out buses for?
We used one  Reach Out bus for our summer skills programme, which was a free vocational/work taster programme for young people, based in HCT in Aberystwyth. The bus was invaluable in supporting us in making the project accessible to all young people, particularly those living far away in rural areas. The bus made sure that the young people who wanted to participate at equal opportunities to those living closer to the town – Gethin, Ceredigion Youth Service

How has the Reach Out project benefited your youth group?
At the moment budget constraints make it very difficult for us as an organisation to organise as many county wide tournaments and competitions as we have done in the past. The main barrier is the transport costs. The Reach Out Project has been of huge benefit as it has allowed us to run some of these activities at a reduced cost due to the price of the service on offer compared to other bus companies. I have personally used the project on a number of occasions, and colleagues within our department have also used it.

Have you as a youth worker/volunteer benefited from the Reach Out project? If yes, how?
Yes. We have been able to save money by using the project which has allowed us to run other projects within schools. One of the main costs for us is transport, and the project has allowed us to save some money on transport and allowed us to use that money on other activities – Rhydian Harries 5×60 Officer
