The Reach Out Project is a new innovative project designed to help provide transport to young people throughout Ceredigion but with a local emphasis on the Tregaron Uplands and other areas where public transport is rare. This project is fully funded for three years by the Big Lottery Fund (People and Places) and commenced during March 2014.
On Monday, 14 April 2014, we took delivery of two new lightweight minibuses, purchased with full funding from the Big Lottery Fund. These lightweight minibuses are the first to be used by Community Transport in Wales and will give young volunteers over the age of 21, who do not have the D1 category on their licence, the opportunity to drive a minibus. They will also receive FREE Midas Training from our trained DATS trainers.
If you are interested in volunteering and helping to relieve the transport problems for young people, please get in touch.
